After graduating from Hillsdale, I attended college at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, receiving a BA in Philosophy in 1964. While at Willamette, I met and married my first husband David Brock, and we had two children, David A. Brock, (currently an Aerospace Engineer at Boeing in Everett, WA) and Bryan Brock, now an ADA Prosecutor at the Clackamas County District Attorney's Office, Oregon City, Oregon. I was divorced from David in 1967.
Subsequent to my divorce, I secured my MSW from Portland State University in 1971 and afterward my Juris Doctor at Lewis and Clark College, Portland, (72-76) passing the Oregon Bar in 1976. I practiced law in Portland until 1985 when I married my second husband, Pat Oser and we moved to North Carolina where we live in the "South" until we retired in 2008. I took the NC Bar in 1986, and practiced in Winston-Salem, NC until retirement in 2008. I was primarily a Domestic Relations attorney, also a Board Certified Family Law Meidator. My husband and I now spend winters in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and summer in Gearhart, Oregon (near Seaside, Oregon). We enjoy travel, golf and watching our grandchildren grow!
Life goes by quickly and Hillsdale is a long ago memory, but one I recall of much hope for the future (along with those awful green gym outfits they made the girls wear.....!). Would love to hear from anyone who wishes to write - does anyone remember me? (I turned out much better looking than I did in HS!!)
