After high school, I received an AB in Chemistry at University of California at Berkeley, an M.S. in Chemistry at California State University at San Jose and a Ph.D. at University of Washington. I was a Predoctoral Fellow at Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry, University of Florence, Italy and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Northwestern University.
Since 1973, I have been a Professor of Chemistry at Manhattan College in Riverdale, New York and Faculty adviser for the Manhattan College Jazz Ensemble; am also a consultant to Union Carbide. I continue to enjoy teaching General Chemistry lectures and laboratories and Advanced Inorganic Chemistry as well as science courses for non-science majors at the College.
