Just to let you know, I am alive and well. Somehow, though, during the intervening years, Joanne got shortened to Joni.
After many years, I retired from Santa Clara County. I had five children, 2 boys, 3 girls, and now have 11 grandsons and 2 granddaughters, ranging in age from 2 to 22. Life, for the most part, has been good and I am now pursuing my passions - painting and writing poetry. My brother, Dan Speck, who was a year ahead of me, is also doing well.
I enjoyed seeing the pictures of the reunion (sorry I missed it), and was saddened of the loss of those no longer with us.
