Jim had a great sense of humor and was a wonderful brother to his four sisters. He also struggled with mental illness from the time he was a young adult, and died in 2007 in his beloved city of San Francisco, where he lived most of his life. His sisters remember him with love and affection. He was a kind and gentle man, generous, very intelligent and always interesting to talk to.
